Learning how to food process my very own Lara Bars. We made honey cashew ginger and almond date coconut, but go crazy!

Reading a World Watch book titled 'Eat Here,' I may say I recommend this!

Experiencing Taste of Colorado in Denver this past weekend

+ running (shuffling?) up a mountain, working too much, attempting to make sushi, and drinking lots and lots of caffeine. I think it's good to be busy to a certain point, but maybe this week was a bit much! I am pretty lucky that I was still able to enjoy lots of good things though!

day two. sweet and savory crepes. We used sauteed vegetables, avocado, and feta for the savory and fried banana (genius!) with nutella, but you can use ANYTHING. truth.

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it. Life is beauty, admire it.

Since beauty can be considered a virtue than I think it much more than just the outward appearance. I think most of beauty as something that actually makes you feel alive and gives a person the feeling of being still and true and free. But MY GOD (thank you!), is there a lot of beauty in this world when you look for it.

Sometimes it is hard to be motivated to do anything at all when you have nothing at all to do, but I think this is a time to remember all the good things that have happened and the blessings that already have been there all along! And it's always possible to find joy and happiness! Even if you pretend to hate life and be the grumpiest person ever, it is actually a choice! So come on self! And who am I kidding? No one seems to be feeling on top of the world at this moment. Everything is relative. 

And this too shall pass!

Not much to blog about.  But I swear... these car shots are like everyday. And I'm not even into cars.

new findings

There are some things I have started to really like about my new city of Boulder, Colorado.

I am quite fond of the farmer's market for one.  It's crazy to me that the local farmer's market has brands like Udi's, Noosa, and Papoosa.

 (the image found when googling Noosa. This must be the cow that EVERY yogurt container comes from ).

I recently found out one of the best concert locations IN THE NATION is only forty minutes from home. Red rocks amphitheater anyone?

I am also very fond of the grocery store selection.  I love Whole Foods, but let's get real, with one bag at sixty dollars this store must be saved for special occasions and sales. What about SPROUTS, ALFALFAS, and SUNFLOWER MARKET? Can anyone say bulk bins? I can. They are my favorite.
