What ta do?

I will leave Iowa. I will leave Iowa. I will leave Iowa. I will leave Iowa. I will leave Iowa.  I will leave Iowa. I will leave Iowa. I will leave Iowa. I will leave Iowa. I will leave Iowa.  I will leave Iowa. I will leave Iowa. I will leave Iowa. I will leave Iowa. I will leave Iowa.

My loyal five readers. Quiz? Where should I live next year? I love Iowa and my family, but I just need to leave at least for a bit.

Options:

Colorado

Oregon

Northern California (Sorry South!)

Vermont

Washington

  1. Well, the only state I've been to in that list is California. So I don't know if I'll be giving you the best advice. I guess a lot of it depends on what you're planning to do after you graduate and if you can find a job/place to live there. From this it seems like you like the west side of the country better so maybe take Vermont off the list. With Washington, you're near Katie so that might be good too.
I think the best thing to do would be to make a pro con list. Hopefully a clear favorite comes up then.
I'm sad we'll need to find a new roomie to replace you next year :(

  2. my decision is not educated because I've only been to palo alto, but you have such wonderful options. maybe seattle cause you'll be by katie and near the rest of the west? maybe colorado so you aren't so darn far away? maybe northern california so I can live with you?!

  3. Betsy! I pretty much couldn't resist commenting after I saw CA as an option. I was born near Santa Cruz, so central CA on the coast, and it is truly amazing. Minus the housing costs of course. But mountains, redwoods everywhere, the ocean of course, and some fun cities... how can you resist? haha. Anyways, good luck with your decision!

  5. Well, I've only been to Colorado and it was sooooo pretty. Wherever you drive there are mountains in the background so I say colorado! :)
