Since beauty can be considered a virtue than I think it much more than just the outward appearance. I think most of beauty as something that actually makes you feel alive and gives a person the feeling of being still and true and free. But MY GOD (thank you!), is there a lot of beauty in this world when you look for it.

ReplyDeleteI like how you describe beauty here, as something you actively seek, as life affirming. Reminds me of what I came across in some of Elie Wiesel's novels (The Town Beyond the Wall, The Gates of the Forest)
