simple joys

To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common--this is my symphony. WILLIAM HENRY CHANNING

I like trees.

They are everywhere!

I still love trees.

“I thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes.”
-e.e. cummings

I want to live. I'm also excited for after I die. I like to sleep, but when the day comes I sometimes cannot wait for it.  There is nothing better than being different, unique, and undefined.  To be free is to give your life away and to love is to lay down at the feet of others.  I want to be more like Jesus.  I want to become a person I have not yet even touched.  I want to know what it means to run fast and free and unselfishly.  I want to be able to see that this life has meaning and purpose but laugh it off at the same time.  I want to be able to smell the bark of trees and taste the pine in the needles and ride my bicycle with my eyes closed. I think for today that's all.
